Origins
Our Formula E team at BYU began its journey in May of 2022. With no budget and no prior experience, we started from scratch, driven by a desire to create a space for engineering excellence within our university. Over the past two years, our team has developed and grown, transforming our humble beginnings into a fully-fledged competitive team.Currently, our goal is to excel in the international engineering competition and establish ourselves as BYU's premier engineering team. We're focused on creating a hands-on, mentor/mentee environment for our students, where they can learn and grow through the rigors of racing.For the future, we envision our team at the forefront of EV racing in the nation. We aim to make BYU a hub for groundbreaking engineering research and development, attracting the best and brightest engineering talents.
